Toyota FJ 40 Cruiser

Toyota's new FJ 40 Cruiser is equipped with a 4.0 liter engine V6 capable of 259@5600 rpm horsepower and 271 torque (lb-ft)@4400 rpm. Toyota FJ has a choice of two wheel drive system or  four wheel drive (4x4) system.  4x4 wheel drive system have a choice of an electronically shifted five-speed automatic or a six-speed manual gearbox. There's also a two-wheel-drive FJ Cruiser available an it comes with the five-speed automatic only. Fuel efficiency is about 22 mpg on the highway, while in the city and suburbs consumption rose to 17 mpg.

Safety features include ABS, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. An off-road traction-control system is available on 4WD models. Safety aid include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with traction (TRAC) control. Dual stage driver and front passenger airbags are combined with 1st and 2nd row curtain shield and front seat mounted side airbags.
